Hi , I'm Jeanette Kao 👋🏻

My background isn’t typical of most designers. I originally studied Environmental Science in school, more specifically marine biogeochemistry (aka the study of water chemistry, physics, biology and geology in the environment). I discovered my love for design through crafting research plans and executing laboratory experiments before I transitioned to Product Design. Nowadays, I apply a creative and analytical approach to my work, finding the perfect balance between both user and business experiences.

When I'm not designing, you can often find me drinking oolong tea, baking desserts and loitering in art museums.
